The region is full of flavors!

The region is full of local wines. The Languedoc wine route will take you from the Picpoul de Pinet to the wines of Saint-Chinian, passing through the vineyards of Minervois and La Clape for unforgettable tastings in the cellar. Some prestigious estates organize wine events.

Several craft breweries have set up shop in the region, including in Capestang.

In Sète, the market halls are full of seafood specialties like tielle and bourride. You can also enjoy Bouzigues oysters and mussels by the lake.

In Pézenas, try the famous sweet and savory pâtés and berlingots. You'll also enjoy the charcuterie from Lacaune, the truffles from Villeneuve-Minervois, or the Lucques olives from Bize-Minervois, which pair wonderfully with the local goat's cheeses.

If in Narbonne or Béziers the authentic covered markets will amaze you, the small typical markets, like that of Capestang (Wednesday and Sunday) will allow you to discover true artisans of French gastronomy.
